How Nd:YAG works
The Dana Magnum Q-Switch Nd:Yag laser is one of the most common types of laser and used for many cosmetic indications. The Nd:YAG can be used for the treatment and clearance of vascular lesions including superficial and deep telangiectasia and reticular veins no larger than 4.0 mm, nail fungus and 2-3 treatments are generally required spaced 6-8 weeks apart. As with all cosmetic procedures, it is difficult to predict an individual’s response and some people may not experience satisfactory results even with multiple laser procedures.
